From a civilian who will never take for granted the freedoms he enjoys because of Men like yourself, your service to our Nation is awe inspiring to say the least... Warriors like you who walk this earth will never be forgotten! Rest in Peace Colonel, now is your time to enjoy your riches in Heaven, riches you never asked for nor expected, but are well deserved. Now we raise a toast to tears of times past glories, to a humble Quiet Professional who's name IS Robert L. Howard. Go maire sibh bhur saol nua, may you enjoy your new life and smile down on us because we're smiling up at you Sir!

In a fleeting moment of time in history of the Untied States of America there stand men and women who dedicate their life for the true purpose of the American dream. Within this honored group there appears a few who are exceptional; those that continually disregard their own lives so that they may extend the lives of others. Of these God assigned a few to stand out; such as Col. Howard.
Hidden from the citizens of the country he served stood a hero of true quality and honor to our core beliefs which our forefathers created for us in their endeavor to fee man as much as they could in this world of totalitarianism.
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness preserved by men and women dedicated to the true meaning of our country. They all serve with such heroic souls as Col. Howard
Thank you God for such men and women as you have assigned for the task of preservation of a country as great as the Untied States of America. Thank you Col. Howard for answering that assignment in such an honorable and distinguished life. You obviously will be rewarded by a higher authority than the government you served.
