I retired December 1, 2008 after serving 25 years in Special Forces. I had the opportunity to meet Col Howard while attending the Q-Course in 1984. My second opportunity was at Panzer Kaserne when I had dinner with him. He is an American hero and I'm very happy to be afforded the chance to be in the presence of such a hero and shake his hand. 31 March 2009 - Presenlty, serving as a contractor in Iraq.

I have been unemployed for the last 5 months in fear of losing my home, all kinds of thoughts raced through my mind. Wow = just saw Robert Howard's story on CBS evening news - God Bless - my Dad was KIA in WWII - my Son in Law is currently a US Navy Seal - where do we get such men.
