Col Howard's name should be on the lips of every American but sadly it isn't. It is men like this that make this nation great and protect us with their lives. We own him more than we can ever repay.

Hearing the Bible Taught in recording number 419_0145 from Hebrews by the Greatest teacher of Bible Doctrine in the 20th century I heard of this man, then Captain Howard. He was the hero most decorated since Audi Murphy. Pastor Thieme spoke at length with this hero who was doing all things well and who had a nobility of character, and a strength and a daring that had become an embarrassment to the Army. The army had tried to bury him. This was discouraging to him and he consider getting out but did not and went on to properly finish a noble career.

God caters, and by history caters to men such as Col Howard and to all in any profession who continue positive toward His word being taught them. Persistant positive volition to the Bible being taught him, kept his character in place rather than falling into discouragement.

Jesus Christ controls history to see to it that history glorifies him. Men such as Col. Howard glorify the creator Jesus Christ, the one who invisiblly sustains all things.

To do your best job as unto the Lord and to know you are doing a good job of it, doing it right and to get get buried for it, yet to keep on is heroic in a spiritual and invisible way and for this he deserves the highest honors for all eternity.
